Is there no way to watch the "Lupin Family All-Stars" OVA without getting the Master File, which I cannot afford?

What's the deal with that CGI content?

Is it a special or just a fun promo?

Did the original cast record this too? Is there even voice-over?

Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?  :)

There's no voices. It's just a short 2 and a half minute little thing filled with Yuji Ohno music. It's very well done and a fun watch.

Ok cool good to know.  ;D

Did it have an official title or shall it henceforth be referred to as "Lupin III: Master File CGI short" or something like that?

As far as I can tell, it's just called "Lupin III 3DCG".

Sorry to bump, but I felt it was worthwhile. I was planning on waiting until I did my formal review on my Blog to post these. But I'm really procrastinating on that. So here's a collection of scans from the Master File.

Included is pictures of the cover art, advertisements put inside the box, the discs, the guidebook, a miniature version of the script, and Monkey Punch style art Postcards for all 5 main characters.

I can't say I would have spent the money they wanted for it (*points to Gozar* That's all him) but I gotta say it was interesting to watch, even if I couldn't understand it. I thought the Lupin VIII anime was pretty hilarious (Zenigata still wearing his hat while dressed in a space suit FTW). I absolutely loved the Lupin in 3D little clip. I would love to see a full length movie in that style of animation!
The seiyuu's performances (other than Kurita's) in the short OVA were sub-par. Goro Naya, I could tell, was really struggling with those three lines. It became clear to me why he was let go. Or maybe he even volunteered to leave because he was in that bad of shape.
The Master File is a great addition to any serious Lupin fan's collection but unless you're Lupin hardcore *points to Gozar yet again* you can't really appreciate it as much without subs and it isn't region free.

I know. Even Kobayashi sounded off. It was so strange. But he sounds fine in "Fujiko Mine".
