^The only thing I ever liked about Inuyasha was the music. The OSTs had a ton of great artists. They really just need to end it though >< But I guess Rumiko Takahashi has a knack for keeping things going.... her shortest series was Maison Ikkoku and that lasted for 10+ volumes.

But Lupin just doesn't appeal to girls because he's not androgynous or "uubberrr kawaiii" =P It's a pity though because it's such a great series. Ahhh their loss.

I agree. I mean I love kawaii things, but I also like a variety. Lupin's just cool and original (compared to bishonen). I like him for that reason.

I like cute things too but when girls say "kawaii" I want to punch them in the face haha. I got into Lupin because of my dad (he has a few VHS's stashed in our storage that I dug out one day). He used to watch the series when he was younger. Personally I've always been more interested in 'shonen' style stories rather than shojo (save for a few titles), just because they story lines are a lot livelier and they sugar coat things less xD

Sausagefest...
LOL !  ;D
quoted for truth !
i barley know any guys that know who lupin is (or even watch anime for that matter) let alone any women !

though if the subject of anime comes up with anyone i insist that they watch the lupin movies ... most people know nothing of lupin past the adult-swim run .

also i always thought of lupin being a show for a somewhat older audience .. i wouldn't really expect a younger crowd to know what lupin is because it's not exposed or currently in a series . to me it seems like they kinda keep it going for the old fans with a movie every year

I'm a male and I'm sad to say I've never met a female Lupin fan. I'm glad to know at least one exists. ;D

Make that two! :D

No female? Are you kidding? No, I have never met any Lupin fan in real life but I've always had the feeling that the fanbase was AT LEAST 50% female. Sure the manga is kinda macho but you can't have four lovable, attractive male characters and not expect a female following! ;D I'm a bit of a tomboy myself and I think that's what attracted me to Lupin III, it has something for everybody, it's neutral!

Whaaaaat, who thinks Lupin's fanbase is mostly guys?!

I know three IRL Lupin fans, and they happen to all be ladiez. CX

Our 3/4 Lupin cosplayers in our group were women, too, haha.

*points at poll*

Pretty equal thar.

Equality indeed, ohoho. 13-13 this far.

No veteran (or non-veteran with simply good taste) female anime nerd need any to keep her interest in series. >:I That's what I think atleast.
..tho I do keep wondering if most of female fans in male-oriented series are fujoshi. Most fanartists seem to be, atleast.

I dont really know any male fans outside these forums... or Lupin fans at all, dang (Sabutaatti being an exception)
It's not being that popular up north here.

Totally female over here, though my username makes it very obvious!

Often caught but never held for long, Lupin III brought the gentleman-thief into this century with his hi-tech antics and old-world charm.

well my bro watches it, and my friend has heard of it.
I just like Lupin for the characters and sometimes the romance plots. ^__^

This poll is probably terribly inaccurate by now xD haha. There was a severe influx in the number of active female members in the last year so I still think we're outnumbered rofl.
