Looks like an opening cutscene from the 3rd PS2 game, "Lupin Dead, Zenigata in Love."

This seems like a good game, just from that cutscene. I wish I could play this game just to find out how Lupin winds up surviving this time.

That's really interesting and it looks cool. Lupin has faked his death many times before and I'd be curious to see how this one turns out.

Man, I wish we'd get more Lupin games here in the States. :'(

As far as I know there's only one. I'd love to play the other Japanese games; they look like a lot of fun.

Trailer is a bit misleading; Lupin doesn't actually die but suffers the threat of death within a set time limit.  The game is the Lupin game I've been waiting for on the PS2; you can read my review and find out why.

Then what's the scene where he gets shot and is in the grave? O_o

Someone thinking of something?

it's like that same exact scene in Missed by a Dollar you know where Lupin gets shot and falls out of the helicopter into a church where they are having a funeral and then he switches bodies with the dead person already in the coffin...

...right?

Again, it is just the trailer being very misleading; at no time in the story of the game does Lupin fake his death, is presumed to be dead, or have an elaborate dream sequence about his death.  If it has any tie to the story, it would be a reenactment of how everyone would react if Lupin did die from not being able to outwit the villain of the game.

this game rocks i insist on importing it ... you don't need a modchip on your playstation 2 to play it either !

i ordered this "swap magic" disc  http://www.swapmagic3.com/ and played this game no problem !
(among other games never released in the USA like Berserk , Cowboy Bebop , Fist of The North Star , and DBZ Sparking Meteor)

this game is definetley the best of the 3 !

the first lupin game wasn't very good , the second is really fun but difficult with the puzzles (plus i dont read jap)

but the third one is pretty easy to play through even in japanese , it also has mission select and tons of classic music ! plus a suprize character to play as in the end ... its halarious !!  ;D

Tempting, this games seems so awesome. But can't those kinds of things screw up your PS2?
