Lupin Pachinko Machines
« on: September 19, 2007, 07:21:58 pm »
I was browsing around and I dug up this article from June about a Lupin exhibit at the Tokyo Dome Hotel featuring Lupin Pachinko machines! (Pachinko is a popular slot machine type of game in Japan) I would've loved to steal some of those promo posters (or one of the machines). Apparently there were two Jigen and Lupin posters that were pretty much wall length. ><; The gift bags looked pretty nifty too. Seriously, why don't they have exhibits like these here! lol.

The background images behind the slot bit are animated... and relatively poorly too.

A true example of bad cel-shaded 3D animation. I still would love to have it though.

anyone know how many different Lupin pachinko machines exist?  I know of at least two others, and I've played this one:

I was lucky enough to snag a Lupin pachislo machine when they were all over the US a few years ago.

Those look more like regular slot machines than pachinko machines. In Japan I played lupin pachinko, slots, and a lupin time crisis style shooter they were all awesome.

here are some pictures.

ahhhh They are Pachisuro machines. It was a Pachinko site and I just figured there were probably pachinko machines unpictured. But that Lupin shooter game looks awesome.

Most likely you're right I cant read Japanese so I have no Idea what that says. I was making an assumption purely on the pictures.

It truly is a magnificent place.

My ability to read in Japanese is severely limited lol so I'm not usually all that surprised when I make mistakes. xD

It is indeed. And they love foreigners.
