I'd say Guy Ritchie or Matthew Vaughn would be great choices.

The video is gone. :(

But I would like to see it as a parody concept. ^^

I don't think any current Hollywood action filmmaker would be fitting for the job
of a Lupin III film adaptation, possibly because I'm very picky, but also because Lupin III's
charm comes from the diversity of elements it is composed of and most Hollywood movies tend
to reduce things to only a few key aspects.

And of course, directors in our current system are secondary. What we need to think about is the producers,
who are the real ones responsible of the quality of a movie in Hollywood.

Right, because the thread was necrobumped from 2007 as I pointed out earlier.

By the way, I'm pretty sure the video wasn't actually called "Mystery of Mamo, Directed by Michael Bay" or anything, that's just GATSU's spin on it.

Ah oki doki ! Thank you for clearing that up. I should have read it more carefully. ^^
On a sidenote, I thought of one director who might be the right one for the task of making a western adaptation of
the Lupin III franchise: Edgar Wright. ^^
