Hey DT can we get a delay on this so it can be a BR/DVD combo like Voyage to Danger? Not to pick on Voyage to Danger again but to me it is one of the most boring specials in the franchise (not necessarily bad, just boring). I would MUCH, MUCH rather have this on Blu-Ray!

It probably depends on the demand for Jigen's Gravestone and/or Voyage to Danger.

As for me? DVD, Blu-Ray, I'm just glad it's coming.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, though, I can't say if pre-ordering is a wise move.

no point in releasing this one on Blu-Ray. Starting with Alcatraz Connection up to Last Job all the TV Specials were digitally animated in 480p standard definition.

Voyage to Danger benefits from it because every TV Special before Alcatraz Connection was animated on film and is much higher resolution.

I wouldn't be surprised that (if Discotek gets more anyway) the ones previously released by Funi will have Combos as an incentive to the folks who have the Funimation releases to at least look into getting these.

I would absolutely love it if the Funimation releases get Blu-Ray/DVD combos from Discotek! I recently got the Funi releases of Die! Nostradamus, Tokyo Crisis, and $1 Money Wars, and the A/V quality on those are pretty lackluster in my opinion. I'm going to hold off purchasing any more and just wait for the inevitable (and far superior) Discotek release.

A Blu-Ray/DVD combo for Tokyo Crisis and Money Wars would be great...I'm not entirely sure if I'll be purchasing Nostradamus again...

After having personal experience with the Funimation edition of Dead or Alive, I agree. You can't wait, they're better than nothing, but if you can, that might be the ideal option.

I got the DVD in the mail today. Didn't get Nostrodamus yet, but I can watch this one.

Of course, I've got tons of other anime fighting for my attention. Lupin's been the winner, so odds are, I'll watch it now.

I look forward to rewatching this with subs that make sense!   ;D I think the one I saw had nonsense HK bootleg subs or something, this being years before the more reliable fansub groups started doing Lupin special. I liked it anyway though, I'm sure it's even better when it makes sense.

I've had this since release so maybe only limited amount of copies before they had distribution problems.
