Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but in Episode 6 of xxxHolic, Yuko writes "Zantetsuken" on a bat and proceeds to slice something in half. She then says "Once again I've cut a worthless object" (Original Japanese only. Not the Dub).

I can't see the picture...
It says "Bandwidth Exceeded". :(

Edit: I got it to work for me. All I had to do was right-click on the busted image, click on "copy image link", and then paste the url into the address bar. :)

I do apologise if this has been mentioned already, but I've been looking into an old SEGA Dreamcast game named 'SEGAGAGA' just lately. The game acts as one big parody of SEGA's situation in the console race around the launch of the PS2, with players taking the role of a new recruit to help take down the big evil 'Dogma' (Sony) corporation.

As the game itself is one big parody, there are lots of little parodies of other titles and cartoons found in the game (Lupin included.)

If you want to see all of the parodies and learn more about SEGAGAGA, feel free to use the links below. =P

I re-arranged my homage folder, so dropping in some shots I don't remember seeing in this topic~

Brief moment from Ga-Rei-Zero (5th episode).

Scene from Paradise Kiss. I cant remember what the scene was about, tho.

From 11th Meitantei Conan movie. Only half minutes in the film and then suddenly, this.

This kinda blows my mind. To think that a Detective Conan movie released two years before Lupin VS Conan would already reference the series at the very start.

An homage to Jigen is in fact in Animaniacs. Here's a shot of it.

LMAO!  Animaniacs was hilarious.

I found this bizarre quick vid of that scene along with a reference to Tiny Toons in Farewell to Nostradamus.  According to the description, Telecom also animated for Animaniacs.

Apparently, in Bakuman 5, they talk about the need for the detective hero to have a rival like Zenigata.

In the manga Sket Dance, the main characters consist of three people, and one named Switch refers himself as Goemon when discussing
the trio's relationship. He specifically says that the other two hang out with each other more often like Lupin and Jigen do, while Switch himself is a bit reclusive like Goemon.

This could be speculation, but I'm wondering if Bruce Lee didn't see Green Jacket. It wouldn't be impossible, as he did spend some time in Japan. The reason is that Fist of Fury/The Chinese Connection uses the exact same plot device of a guy who pretends to be a maintenance guy while fixing a phone. Lee is even dressed like Lupin. Maybe I'm just imagining it, though?
