Noticed only now that the Kubrick Shining and Mamo have similar door-splitting scenes. I wonder if Kubrick was a fan...

Technically, the dog in Cagliostro is named Karl, not the owner, but that scene in T6 still made me think of that Lupin movie... http://themoviebox.net/14680

In honor of Monkey Punch’s only Lupin directorial work, DOA has a nanomachine angle, too.  8) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F95Fk255I4M Is that a Walther at 0:23? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aJSwD_17qjY

Robin Hood: Men in Tights has a wedding scene similar to Cagliostro’s while the ‘87 Robocop also has the crooks throwing the loot out of the car.  8)

No surprise, but that Bebop guy cites Lupin as his favorite anime of all time. Thanks, Crunchyroll. https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/dncfbz/hi_im_shinichir%C5%8D_watanabe_director_of_cowboy/

Also, the fight scene in this clip reminds me of MP’s Gundo Musashi, while the Alabasta arc of OP seems to have been inspired by that rubber duck from Dragon of Doom. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hD_AgH7TSxw

Someone’s a fan of that Lupin vs. Pycal story in the original show. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UCCaLYyc7y8 The second time, to my knowledge, that Square’s gotten a Lupin actor for an FF game. Well, one of the attacks in 4 *is* named Zantestuken.... https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2019-11-02/final-fantasy-vii-remake-game-runs-record-7-minute-tv-commercial/.152909

That lantern and Goemon’s hat appear in the SNES Ganbare Goemon game, Legend of the Mystical Ninja. https://mobile.twitter.com/tmsanime/status/1189959686851743744 In addition, Metal Gear Solid 3’s female lead dresses like Fujiko’s get-away outfit from that movie. And the clocktower and hanging from it feature prominently in Project A and Back to the Future and Shanghai Knights and Stallone’s Oscar.

Konami might be a fan of that Lupin Frankenstein. The Monster Squad peeps, too. 8) https://mobile.twitter.com/ashuraou/status/1192261030065397761 Also, Cameron’s Titanic reminds me more of Cagliostro than it did in the past. Also, one of the Manhattan shots reminds me of Babylon. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4TojlZYqPUo

Nothing special, but the attempted heist at 1:07 or so is Lupin-esque. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=E-p0ZLRfzBg&t=100s
I think they’re fans of the Lupin beach shots. http://themoviebox.net/14744
I think the Shinobi game peeps were fans of that pic with Goemon and his Noh Mask. https://www.rightstufanime.com/Lupin-The-3rd-Part-II-Collection-3-DVD

Beginning and ending partly remind me of Cagliostro and Walther. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A651w7RdfSE

I have a feeling Ringo Lam and Chow Yun Fat were fond of Jigen’s gunplay, when they made Full Contact.
