Yep, Smith is definitely flying like Lupin in Part V. And the boy looks like a gender-swapped Ami.... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G9IPXg6UsYM

Probably not the first one in that series, but that’s one Fujiko-esque foil. Plus, there’s a mask like in that spin-off series... https://www.theverge.com/2019/12/4/20995060/james-bond-no-time-to-die-trailer-daniel-craig-rami-malek

Underwater sequence reminiscent of Cagliostro. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=usQJZFi1rU4&t=3s

I guess they liked that grip from The First and Lupin’s eyegear from Part V. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=00gr2d592rc

Hojo told me he met Monkey Punch, and maybe that's why this iteration of City Hunter also has a blue jacket. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2019-11-26/french-live-action-city-hunter-film-recreates-anime-next-episode-preview/.153719  Oh, and the Miyazaki robot from ep. 155 appears in the Nausicaa movie, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, and that 2004 Sky Captain thing.

The Black Widow people might be fond of that imposing beardo from Goemon's Bloodspray. http://themoviebox.net/14812  And let's see. They fight a giant disembodied brain in Metroid and RoboCop 2, as is the case with Mamo. And I think the Mamo animators worked on a similar scene in Akira.

Well, City Hunter does draw much from Lupin III. Both are fun tales too!  :D

Walter, Walther? Plus, they must’ve read my comments on Jigen in Part V with that ‘good guys’ comment. Plus, they got a bubble like the girl in one at @tmsanime’s Tweet. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xfOWo76LW_0 https://mobile.twitter.com/tmsanime/status/1204156031967715328 Looks like
Bond likes to draw, too. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ET2HVpSNWxk

I think the Quiet Place and Speed peeps are fans of that bus scene in Cagliostro. Maybe John Woo when he did The Killer, too.... And Jackie Chan in Police Story... http://themoviebox.net/14908 And after seeing the trailer, Walter Hill in Red Heat. Oh, and the Battle Royale peeps, too.

I guess unlike Lupin, Harley doesn’t need a card? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=x3HbbzHK5Mc Also, I think the Sailor Moon people like the Lupin manga’s use of astrologicăl signs-albeit in a more family-friendly context, mind you... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Gh9JQNrJrVo

Just in case some HP fans show up, here, no, Lupin has nothing to do with those fantasy books... https://screenrant.com/harry-potter-reasons-sirius-lupin-arent-real-friends/

This is the second article I’ve read this theory. Not sure if it’ll happen, but Fuma did it first at least with Lupin. https://screenrant.com/no-time-die-james-bond-movie-007-death-theory/ Also, like Part IV, they seem to be going after secrets. http://themoviebox.net/15015
