I first noticed when Amazon had the "discontinued by manufacturer" sign under the description. I haven't realized that the other ones are out of print.  :( I know the Babylon OST is too... I think.

Now that you've mentioned it, I've noticed that all the Japanese CD's I own have two dates on the back.  One is the date of release, and the other, which is usually a year later, I assume is the day they stop producing them.  I've never looked into this to see if my theory is right, though I can't imagine what else those dates are for!

I wonder why they would release them in such limited edition?

I'm not sure.  I assume that stuff they think will sell more probably get longer releases.  Looking at some of my other Japanese CD's, I have two that break this rule:  One is a Dragonball Z CD from 1992, which doesn't have any second date on it, and the other is the soundtrack to the first season of The Big-O, which was apparently in production for two years!  But other than those two, all the others I have (the majority of which are Lupin) follow the "one year" example that I described.

Is (bootleg site) a bootleg site?
Wow, it's lucky I saw this post. Now I know the name of another site to be sure I keep away from.

Or, wait. No I don't. :P
