Thank you so much, I posted those other pics I did before this one as well. I really like the Cliff Hanger sideart and saw so many ways I could make it like Cagliostro without going overboard (adding in characters that don't appear, except for Jigen of course). It makes me sad I can't find anymore Cliff pictures I'd really like to do more of these.

Cool pics Ultimateemail5000 !  :)

Since I still got some oldies in my vault, here's a second wave
of sketches ! Be warned, there is some suggested nudity and sexyness
but nothing explicit. Some of this drawings are copyed from the manga, others
inspired by the anime and the great majority is original though Monkey Punch
remains my number one inspiration.  ;D

@Red Dear - I love that Jigen sketch! Your style definitely reminds of the manga a bit.

Uhm sometimes I draw stuff. I finally figured out how to use my tablet (a whole two years later) so I was messing around a bit and drew Fujiko. I think.

Jo: Thanks a lot !  ;D

Your drawing is good, well framed and I like the big eye.

Heres a very recent drawing (for once) showing Lupin III in his
Fourth series preview outfit. No reference has been used but I sure was inspired
by MP's late 60's style. I did it with a fixed pencil and thin color pens.

prepare to see some more !  ;)

Artist Trading Cards

These are some artist trading cards I made of the Lupin cast. I will be making similar cards like these at conventions in June and August. They are ten dollars per card.

Gozar, the Jigen is for sale - or I can make one similar. I pencil sketch on the trading card, ink with micron and use prisma markers/pencils and copic markers for coloring. That's why I charge $10 for a baseball card-sized pirceof cardstock. It's still way cheaper than many other artists that use similar tools.

I think I've been inspired by the new series... I've been listening to my Yuji Ohno music a lot over the past week after not playing a single track for some time, and then today, while bored in a meeting at work, I started doodling to see if I remembered how to draw the Lupin characters, as I taught myself years ago, but haven't tried in a while.  This is what I came up with:

None of them are perfect, but I'd say they're not bad for going freehand with no reference.  I think my Lupin could probably use the most work.  Maybe I'll practice some more at home.

(I never learned how to draw Goemon, hence his absence.)
