Just finished watching Secret of Mamo tonight, and I watched Voyage to Danger yesterday.

Just watched "First Contact" for the first time.

Holy crap... It was awesome!
Everyone was at top form here.  I really like the way Fujiko was written (and drawn ;) ), we don't see that side of her often.  Jigen just oozed coolness (more so than usual), seeing Goemon as a musician was interesting (not to mention that moment on top of the Empire State Building was...wow...) while Zenigata got to be a little goofy at times, he mostly remained competent and clever (like his encounter with the street gang).  Lupin wasn't as lecherous as I would've liked (although they did imply that he got laid), but the rest of his personality was intact.
The best part was watching the characters meet each other for the first time, and watching them develop into the characters we've grown to love.
10/10

Now my third favorite Lupin movie, right after Cagliostro and Mamo.

Just watched "Fry Me to the Moon" after reading Reed's (there's a joke somewhere in there, but it's 3 AM and I'll be damned if I can think of it) review of it and realizing that I remembered nothing about the episode, so I decided to watch it and enjoyed it quite a bit. Not a series classic, but I liked Zenigata being conflicted about helping to conspire against Lupin, and the stuff with

. Solid little episode.

The review of the ep from your review of the Lupin the Target second series DVD - which I found by looking up an '06 version of the site on archive.org

Hehe, thanks. That version of the site, design-wise, is my favorite one to browse through whenever I feel like looking for in-depth Lupin info.

Mn, watched Return the Treasures again, but with my mom this time. She really seems to enjoy the Lupin series. XD
Lupin will look up and shout, "Save us, plot-device!", and I'll look down and whisper, "No".

The two-parter from the end of the second season of the second series, appropriately (for this sentence) entitled "The Second Time Around." Lots of stuff to like in this two-parter, but for some reason the part that really makes me grin is the flashback material to a young Lupin with 1960s-style long hair and hippy-esque clothing. :D
