I've seen at least a couple of listings on Ebay, actually... though I get the sense you might have been keeping an eye on the site already. :P

I'm not sure about the seller... it says "China, China" in the location. Plus the shipping is ridiculous.

Yeah. I believe the shipping to bring my Stylish Figure over from Japan was somewhere between ten and twenty dollars. :/ However, I convinced my parents to consider it my Christmas gift, so they wouldn't guilt-trip me so much.

There are other sites that offered these figurines, too. I guess you've tried Googling it, and seeing what comes up?

I usually use Rinkya, they bid for you on Yahoo Auctions Japan. The only thing is if it's over 1000 yen you have to pay an extra fee.

I've seen this site before, how does it work?

after you register you click on Auction Search/Order to select you type of search, i usually use type 3 (3rd option is for Yahoo Japan Auctions)

after you've found your item that you want like this http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f71491895 click on search and it will pull up the item that you want.

you can either select order or watch list, if you select order you have to put in the amount you want put in the bid and give the item a name

after you order it you can watch its status

if you've won the item it will let you know by email, after that you have to wait for it the arrive at Crescent Shop HQ then you can for your item

Stop teasing me with those charming chibis that I cannot buy! D8 *head slumps in misery*

Thanks for the information on how to get our hands on goods overseas, though.

Interested in Some Art? Ask Me About Fan Art Comissions!
« Reply #22 on: September 14, 2008, 07:21:02 pm »
Hey everyone! I wasn't sure where to post this, but since it is off-topic I decided this was a safe place to put it for the moment. I'm currently unemployed at the moment and have been job hunting, as well as juggling with school. In the meantime, until I can get a job, I decided to start taking art commissions for anyone who is interested in some art of your fan characters or even your favorite Anime/Manga/Comic book/Cartoon characters! Lupin III character requests are definitely welcome. ;3

My pricing and guidelines can be found here: http://angelidollinda.livejournal.com/65372.html#cutid1

Bristol is a type of paper that artists use for illustration, it's kind of stiff like card stock.

I would love to draw Zeni for you, since he's my favorite too. ^^

Napkins and homework also qualify. XD

But silliness aside, Ishikawa Goemon solemnly endorses this thread. May you be prosperous and successful.

My livejournal has all the pricing information (see my first post). Any specifics, like what you'd like him to do in the picture and such?
