Daisuke Jigen: $5 Money Wars (or This Is I Think Of The Government)








I got really bored and just drew this down with a few sharpies when I got the idea from a Facebook post. XD I thought that Lincoln as Jigen would be humorous as well as ironic. OPERATION: KILL LUPIN (or LUPIN THE TARGET)



This is a late birthday present that I drew and inked for RedDear and also the cover for our Lupin III fancomic anthology project that me, him, and  are over. I got the idea from the classic Monkey Punch created covers from 1974 (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.625944520778851.1073741886.475178502522121&type=3) as well as the manga rooftop car battle scene that paid homage to the original 70's manga crazy styles by Monkey Punch from the 40th Anniversary Lupin III OVA, Lupin the Third: GREEN vs. RED (To watch this: http://www.hulu.com/watch/512374 or https://myspace.com/241787227/video/lupin-iii-green-vs.-red/100655990). The alternate covers will be colored by RD himself. ^^

LUPIN III 1960'S MONKEY PUNCH STYLED "PLAYING CARDS"

It really seems that no body really looks at the art here or posts here anymore. So, I'm gonna try to keep this tropic alive with some of my artworks. This is the first drawing I've made and posted on the web this year. I kinda messed up on the original piece with the teeth, but thank God I took a pic of it with my cell before I balled the real one up outta frustration.  Igot the idea of this when I remembered the intro to Pursuit Of Harimo's Treasure and also a page from the original Lupin III first series manga of Lupin's wanted poster.

Anywho, I hope you guys like this. Next time, I might post cosplays of me as manga Lupin with a white fedora and wearing the classic attire from the mangas to a expo here in Alabama called Kami Con. I hope to get good pictures of the cosplay.

Technically, this official art, but I just found it unusual that Fujiko's dressed so conservatively for the cover of the latest Lupin Japanese magazine.

Update: There's a site where people re-imagine anime/manga characters as done by Western comic book artists. And they got Lupin by way of Jack Kirby. [Not the real Kirby, of course.] Thanks to ANN for the tip.

I made this a couple of days a go, sorry the photo is a little blurred. It's a stencil with spray paints.

A couple of people who have seen it couldn't make out what it was, it seems obvious to me but then I am really use to the source material I used.

It ended up a little darker and enclosed than I first planned, so it looks like he is sneaking in the dark more than dashing now, but I am pleased with it.
